CO2 Welding Wire Production Line Device Description

The CO2 Welding Wire Production Line is mainly used to produce CO2 copper-plated gas-shielded welding wire with a wire diameter of 1.6-0.8mm.

It is mainly composed of an I-shaped wheel pay-off frame, electrolytic pickling, water washing, chemical copper plating, electroplating, water washing, and neutralization, a fine drawing machine, and an I-shaped wheel take-up machine, etc.

CO2 gas shielded welding wire has good process performance, fast melting speed, and high deposition efficiency. The arc is stable, the welding spatter is extremely small, the weld seam is uniform and beautiful, and it is suitable for all-position welding.

This series of welding wires are mainly used for welding low-carbon steel and low-alloy steel structures, such as ships, vehicles, bridges, containers, engineering machinery, boilers, buildings, etc.

Main Parts of CO2 Welding Wire Production Line

 

(1) One set of duckbill pay-off rack

The seamless pipe weldment can carry 2.5 tons of wire rod at one time and is equipped with an emergency stop switch for disordered wires.

 

(2) One set of repeated bending mechanical peeling and steel ball strong scrubbing device

The wire rod is bent at least in four directions perpendicular to each other to peel off the iron oxide scale on the surface of the wire rod.

The material of 10 shelling wheels: ZG45 steel, the working surface is sprayed with WC carbide powder, the hardness is above HRC60, and the smoothness reaches the working surface of the inner ring of the bearing. The inner diameter of the working surface of the wheel is Ф115-120mm.

After peeling, it adopts a groove structure, multi-segment tapered holes, and steel balls to wipe the surface of the wire strongly without damaging the surface of the wire, so as to facilitate drawing.

At the same time, pressurized cold water is used to wash the rust and impurities on the surface of the wire, and an air-blowing device is installed at the outlet to reduce water being carried out by the steel wire.

 

(3) One set of electrolytic pickling devices

Fully enclosed, using electrolytic pickling process to thoroughly remove residual scale, rust, etc. on the surface of the wire, and then wash with water and dry to ensure that the surface of the wire is clean before entering the boron coating process.

PP (thickness 15mm) tank body, length 6.8 meters, upper and lower tank structure, the upper tank is placed with positive and negative plates isolated from each other (lead plate thickness 10mm), rectifier cabinet 0~500A, 0~12V; with acid circulation pump, and two acid mist outlets are left to facilitate the manufacturer to remove acid mist.

 

(4) One set of boron coating devices

made of 3mm stainless steel plate, upper and lower tank structure, steam or electric heating, steel wire preheating and automatic temperature control device, air blowing nozzle at the outlet, equipped with a circulation pump.

 

(5) One drying device

The first high-frequency drying in China, the use power is only 10KW, saving more than 40% of electricity, and adopts 30 cm long straight tube drying.

Workers only need to pass the steel wire through the 20cm empty pipe when operating. The operation is extremely simple and the maintenance cost is low.

The boron-coated steel wire does not need any bending and goes directly into the wire drawing machine. The effect of boron coating is good, and the total length is 1 meter.

And equipped with an automatic temperature control device, the maximum temperature can reach 150 ℃, and the steel wire drying effect is good.

 

(6) Two sets of cold air drying

Each set is 3 meters long, and the power is only 0.37KW so that the temperature of the steel wire can be lowered and then advanced into the drawing machine, which can increase the drawing speed by more than 2 meters.
