The straight-in wire drawing machine has a small continuous production equipment composed of multiple drawing heads during operation. Through step-by-step drawing during operation, the steel wire can be cold-drawn to the required specifications at one time, so the work efficiency is relatively high.

However, since the wire diameter of the steel wire changes after each stage of drawing, the working linear speed of each drawing head should also change.

According to the different drawing die configurations of the straight-forward wire drawing machine, the drawing speed of each drawing head will also change. The benchmark of drawing speed is that the flow volume per second of the steel wire passing through the drawing die remains unchanged at each moment. The working speed of each drawing head of the linear wire drawing machine is based on the above formula, and each drawing head operates synchronously.

However, the above description is based on an ideal steady-state working process. Due to mechanical transmission errors and mechanical transmission gaps, as well as during dynamic working processes such as starting, acceleration, deceleration, and stopping, each drawing head cannot maintain synchronization.

Most straight-forward wire drawing machines now have tension sensors that dynamically measure the tension of the steel wire between each drawing head.

Then convert the tension into a standard signal, and use this standard signal to feedback to the speed control inverter. The inverter uses this signal for closed-loop PID process control, superimposes the adjustment amount calculated by PID on the main speed, and keeps the tension at each tension detection point constant. That’s straight-forward wire drawing.

It adopts a one-stage powerful narrow V-belt and one-stage planar secondary enveloping worm gear pair transmission, which has high transmission efficiency and low noise.

The straight-forward wire drawing machine adopts air tension adjustment, which ensures stable drawing. It adopts AC variable frequency control technology (or DC programmable control system) and screen display. It has a high degree of automation, easy operation, and high-quality drawn products.
