The copper wire drawing machine is mainly composed of a feeding device, drawing device, traction device, cooling device, control system, and other parts.

Its advantages are simple technology, simple equipment, low equipment investment, low requirements for operators, and multi-head annealing.

The disadvantage is that it consumes a lot of power. Annealing a ton of copper wire consumes more than 225 kWh of electricity; it is impossible to automatically track the annealing speed; threading is troublesome and the equipment is huge.

The operating requirements of the copper wire drawing machine include:

  1. Check whether each machine equipment, transmission device, etc. is normal, and add lubricating oil to the mechanical rotating parts;
  2. Check whether the specifications and surface quality of the copper rod or copper flat wire are qualified, and they are allowed to be used if qualified;
  3. The drawing dies and tooling wheels should be equipped correctly according to the production dispatch list and process documents;
  4. Check the oil and butter of each open lubrication point, and replenish it in time if it is found to be insufficient;
  5. Check whether the machine is abnormal;
  6. Close all protective fences and protective doors and retreat to a safe position outside the warning line;
  7. Coordinate the forklift to transport the copper rods used in the process to the release area of the process to prevent knocks and bruises during the turnover process;
  8. The fastening condition of the fasteners should be checked regularly, especially the top fasteners on the box should be checked for looseness every shift to avoid accidents;
  9. When starting the equipment, the No. 15 mechanical oil in the lubricator in the triple unit cannot be interrupted;
  10. When the equipment stops working, the operator should disconnect the main power supply of the distribution cabinet.
